  3. Dr Roberts, I presume?

A small report, these are from a good few years back now i'm sure. Taken on an old Lubitel 166B using magnesium ribbon to illuminate the pictures. Low tech eh? The working of slate at Conglog began in 1854 with a two-year take-note to Robert Roberts, Surgeon and John Williams, quarryman, of Ffestiniog. It continued under a number of leases and sub-lettings, and under several different trading names, until 1909. The new Conglog Slate and Slab Co Ltd went into liquidation in 1891, and a new leaseholder from 1895 traded as the Glyn Ffestiniog Quarry. The complex includes four open pits leading to underground levels and chambers in the Back Vein and North Vein. The "shard" Illuminating the big slab This one is similar to above but illuminated down the passage with some fancy electronic torch. The slab and waste wagon And one more of the waste wagon As you can see lots of heroic posing is involved in mine exploring. Hopefully you found this a bit interesting, now the others can't complain at me for not posting reports.
  4. A Colliery Bathhouse

    Nicely done!
  5. Milkbank House - abandoned mansion in Scotland

  6. Hotel Derpafornia.

It surprisingly hasn't changed much from my past visits which must be a good few years ago now. Just some steel shutters apparently. Good stuff.
  7. North Wales Asylum October.

Well if you decide to head back up feel free to PM me as i'm North Wales based, i'm mostly underground these days but i'm always up for a cheeky surface explore.
  8. North Wales Asylum October.

Denbigh was my first hospital. Is it weird to say you've spent many happy hours at a place that was unescapable for many? At any rate, its been sad watching it fall down over the years. Hard to believe my first visit there was ten years ago now. Time flies! Good stuff Are you a local to North Wales?
  9. Castle Batman (France)

Wow that is pretty cool. Drugs and motown
  10. H.m.s Lollington/boat 'x' - Town 'x' - Feb 12

Your photos make this look so much better than it actually is, nice one!
  11. Odeon Chester Feb 2012

The main screen hasnt actually changed that much since it was turned into an odeon, the bottom half was turned into two smaller screens so there are no seats below the upper level.
  12. Network Rail Development Rooftop - January 2012

Spiffing stuff, the 10-20 is doing its duty I see!
  13. Bolsover Castle - Nov 2011

Anywhere that can be called balls-over castle is highly rated in my books! Looks worth an entrance fee though!
  14. Big Manky Factory, Caernarfon Dec 2011

Its always been a shithole, it was less of a shithole 2 years ago before the offices burned down and there was a lot more to look at in that medical office. Glad to see the mist has gone now, I can only assume it was asbestos in the air or something...
