TACK LEA WORKS

Recommended Posts

Thanks to fraggle for the heads up on this. a quick visit on a sunday tea time.

History:- The location initially began life as a dye works, transitioning at around 1872 to a waste mill involved in the bleaching of cotton waste. the building was used as a bleach works by the mid 1890's and has been modified and expanded extensively 200 years since it was established. it ended its life as a plastic moulding company making cones etc.
